Open Positions 

Night Operations Staff

NorthBay’s mission applies to every role on campus; this mission to serve and provide a space for students to learn and grow extends to our Night Operations (NOPS) team. Night Operations staff is responsible for safety and supervision of the students attending camp.  He/She must be a strong leader, role model, and mentor for students and fellow staff at all times.  NOPS staff assist in maintaining a positive, professional and friendly learning environment for the students, staff and guests. He/She should be able to work closely with visiting groups to ensure a safe and fun experience for the schools attending camp.  Facilitation and guidance of campers throughout the afternoon and evening activities while maintaining a positive, collaborative attitude is vital to this role.

High School diploma/equivalent is required; previous customer service or experience working with children preferred.

Part-time Art Teacher

The NorthBay mission applies to every role on campus; this mission to serve and provide a space for students to learn and grow extends to our Night Operations/Activity staff. NorthBay’s Art Activity Worker facilitates art activities and projects during student afternoon activity time. Qualified candidates for Art Activity Worker must be strong leaders, role models, and mentors for the students and fellow staff at all times, with the ability to lead/facilitate students in fun and enriching art activities. The Art Activity Worker contributes to a positive, professional and friendly learning environment for the campers, staff and guests.

High School diploma/equivalent is required; art/teaching experience and experience working with children is preferred.

Weekend Dining Supervisor/Sous Chef
NorthBay’s mission applies to every role on campus; this mission to serve and provide a space for students to learn and grow extends to our Dining team. By providing nourishing meals in a clean and safe environment, students and guests feel well cared for, and our interactions with every person lend to the overall success of each trip. The Evening Dining Supervisor/Sous Chef must be hard-working and dedicated to their job and NorthBay’s mission. Minimum of two years high volume cooking experience required. Supervisory experience desirable; college or culinary training is preferred. Prior food service experience is preferred but not required. This is a salaried, 40 hour/week position.

Guest Services Host

By providing support to our guest groups and acting as a liaison between property operation and our visiting groups, our interactions with every person lend to the overall success of each trip. Guest Hosts must be hard-working and dedicated to their job and NorthBay’s mission. Prior customer service experience is preferred but not required. This is a part-time position throughout the school year, with hours on Friday evenings, Saturdays and/or Sundays.

School-Year Overnight Counselors
NorthBay’s School-Year Overnight Counselor is responsible for safety and supervision of the students attending camp.  He/She must be a strong leader, role model, and mentor for students and fellow staff at all times.  Counselors assist in maintaining a positive, professional and friendly learning environment for the students, staff and guests. He/She should be able to lead and engage in discussions with students that reinforce their academic and leadership lessons, so that they can apply these lessons to make positive choices.  By focusing on specific activities throughout the week, students gain confidence, knowledge, and problem solving skills while having fun and developing meaningful relationships with peers and staff.  Overnight counselors deliver NorthBay’s lessons and character development with their students, while acting as a positive role model, while ensuring supervision and safety.
