Coming to Horn Point!

We’re so excited that you’ll be visiting Horn Point soon!

Our few days at Horn Point are going to be like nothing else you’ve experienced before!  We will be exploring the marshes and waterways of the Choptank River and after experiencing Toobie each evening (a movie made for NorthBay campers like you) we’ll be discussing what we’ve noticed and observed during the day.

Along with packing and getting plenty of rest over the next couple of days, we want you to explore the issues that we will be investigating BEFORE you arrive to Horn Point.  We hope that you will reflect & wonder about some of the issues facing oysters and marshes on your own before even coming.

So enjoy the questions and our new friend Spaulding’s exploration below.  We know you’ll have fun joining us on this journey!

See you soon!!

What I Need to Know

All of our class locations, adventure courses, and equipment are regularly certified and inspected.  Our staff members are background checked & drug tested, qualified in their field, and First Aid, CPR, and Med-Tech trained.

NorthBay has a zero tolerance with the following: drugs, alcohol, cigarettes & weapons. Parents will be notified immediately and children will be sent home if found with any of the items listed above.

We request that cell phones and other electronic equipment be left at home as they are dangerous distractions during adventure classes.  Cell phones brought to camp are stored in cabin safes and children are allowed to make calls before dinner time.
