NorthBay’s Leadership Team are the current directors that provide strategic leadership, guidance and training for NorthBay’s growing team. Along with implementing NorthBay’s mission on a day-to-day basis, this team also develops long-range goals as well as provide the support for a family of successful employees.
NorthBay’s Leadership Team
Driven by his passion for nature conservation, the opportunity to connect the next generation to their environment and its conservation drew Neil to NorthBay in 2008. As executive Director he provides strategic leadership to enhance NorthBay’s overall impact, sustainability and growth. Originally from South Africa, he has over two decades of management experience in the non-profit sector, advancing goals, priorities and impact for each institution as well as serving as a trusted adviser and thought partner for diverse stakeholders. At Gorongosa Restoration Project, he coordinated several large scale conservation projects in support of the reconstruction of Gorongosa National Park, Mozambique. He is an Assistant Professor of Practice at Virginia Tech’s Center for Leadership in Global Sustainability, and holds a B.S.S from Rhodes University and a masters in Natural Resources from Virginia Tech. When not at work he is an avid wildlife photographer and enjoys traveling to immerse in the outdoors anywhere he can.
Donna has a BS in Accounting from West Chester University and a BA in Mathematics and Computer Science from Notre Dame of MD University. Donna served on the Cecil County Board of Education from 2006-2014 becoming the first two-term elected member in County history. When she’s not crunching numbers, she enjoys spending time with her children, Amanda, T.J. & Parker, and her fiancé, Jack, working in the garden and listening to the Beatles.
